The new website will be up within the next week. look out for it

There are a group of young men in the NCOBA who are currently making waves. When I joined the Old Boys Association in 1977 we were already growing tired. Dr. Anslem St. George, our then President, tried valiently to keep the crew of dedicated and comitted executive together, but we were clearly losing the battle.

Khem Ablack and his execuitive injected some life back into the executive around 1988 and abumpy decade followed. But the good news is that the transformation has started, culminating in the election of the 1999/2000 boys (and Jean too of course).

And they have worked. Every month since last August some function or event has been organised. A clearer vision of our role and responsibilities to the school is being fashioned and a strategic management to sonduction our business is now emerging. Pen Portraits of the outgoing executive are produced in this special AGM 2000 Newsletter. I hope that this edition will initiate the production of many more, as we build the institutional memory of the glorious school called Naparima College.

Your ideas are critical to the success of the NCOBA in its future programmes of work. The Association needs your brainpower, including its alumni resident in the diaspora. We will discuss a trust fund today, which is an example of the major shift in the manner in which we now conduct our business. Rally to the cause and help Naparima College retain its status as the premier Boy's College in Trinidad and Tobago.

This is the Welcome message written by Allan Sammy, as printed in the special AGM 2000 newsletter. I see no better and fitting way of welcoming you to this new image of the Naparima College Old Boys Association, than with the words of a "Sammy". A name that has been synonimous with quality, inteligence, achievement, and proudly associated with Naparima College from as far back as 1890.

Please bear with us for a few more days. We are working hard to have all the information to you but not all of it is ready yet. Please continue checking back for more updates (daily) and more downloads and information.

Thanks for your patience.
